The Kuomintang, or KMT (ticker: [1.KMT]), is a New Eden political party favoring freedom from imperialism or colonialism, economic independence, and nationalistic autonomy. This 2nd iteration of the KMT has its name derived from a governmental entity of ancient Earth (see URL).

KMT members are sworn to allegiance to the party, its leadership, and its goals; separatism is not to be tolerated. The Kuomintang has been known to crack down harshly on warlord-ism.

Leadership is autocratic in nature rather than democratic; the current Director-General of the KMT is CEO and Founder Chaing Kaishek.
